Research and Documentation

RWB aims to close the existing gap in monitoring the implementation of the women, peace and security (WPS) agenda in Africa by providing an alternative report using feminist approaches. RWB will publish annual reports on the implementation of the WPS agenda in Africa from a civil society and feminist perspective. The WPS research agenda will use the African Union Continental Results Framework (developed by the Office of the Special Envoy of WPS and approved by the African Heads of State) indicators to monitor and track the implementation of the WPS agenda in Africa from civil society and feminist perspective.

We strive to provide civil society perspective on the implementation of the WPS in Africa
