Liberia’s second-phase national action plan on women, peace and security, published by the Government of Liberia in 2019 through the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection.
It begins with a context and situational analysis, then reviews what the first plan (2009–2013) achieved across its four pillars — protection, prevention, participation and empowerment, and promotion — before aligning the new plan with the international, regional and national instruments Liberia is party to. Developed with UN Women, the Swedish Embassy and the Peacebuilding Fund.
